Investment advisory services such as fee based financial planning makes us fiduciaries, this is not something we take lightly.  We always strive to provide the highest possible level of care, which is a key distinction from other financial services offerings.

Separate from the financial plan and an advisors' role as financial planner, an advisor may recommend the purchase of specific investment or insurance products or accounts.  These product recommendations are not part of the financial plan and clients are under no obligation to follow them.

Ongoing cost for AdviceLink® is based on net-worth using the following schedule. Ongoing advice commences after the initial client onboarding process is completed, presuming an ongoing advice relationship is desired. Generally, this is 3-6 months after the initial engagement.

Ongoing advisor cost may be paid in-part from portfolio assets under direct management, or a fixed-cost separate from investable portfolio assets. Our model uses a net-worth metric aligning our interests so as you do well, we do well. Net Worth is defined as investable portfolio assets considered available to be managed. Calculations generally exclude 6 months of cash emergency funds, home equity, business property, personal use property, unvested /executed stock options or units, and gifted assets such as 529/UTMA/Coverdell assets. Cost may be adjusted annually based on Advisor's formula at those times.
